On the 16th of February 2024, West Tech Assemblage hosted its first Half-Day Conference. The assembly of both familiar and new participants to deliberate on collaborative endeavours aimed at mitigating digital exclusion in the future was a noteworthy occasion.
Additionally, the presentation of impactful and personal anecdotes by our Voices of Community panel offered valuable insights into the complexities surrounding digital inclusion initiatives. Their stories highlighted the importance of empathy and understanding in creating truly inclusive digital spaces. Through collaboration and the progressive, shared goals of all stakeholders, the objective of ensuring no one is left behind in our Digital Future.
WTA have since 2015 grown and matured into becoming more than a networking event and is currently one of the biggest contributors to driving the culture of collaboration in WA.
